2019 Acura MDX near Kansas City - Overland Park

In Overland Park, the 2019 Acura MDX is an Understated Competitor in the Three-Row SUV Segment

The Acura MDX is one of those SUVs that you don't hear about very often in the Overland Park area; its sleek and mature exterior doesn't call as much attention as rival SUVs with bulges and sharp edges; its potent engine doesn't snarl or scream; its plush and vibrant interior doesn't give in to brash temptations. And while your eye might, at first, be caught up by louder three-row luxury crossovers, you'll likely find yourself coming back to the 2019 Acura MDX. For 2019, package options for this model include Standard, Entertainment, Technology, Advance, and an all-new A-Spec package.

A More Configurable Interior

The bright, spacious interior of the 2019 Acura MDX offers a long list of comfort features and a variety of configurable options. The updated second row uses a one-touch smart-slide access to make getting into the third row easier for passengers or for storing gear. Acura claims more than 90 cubic feet of cargo space inside of the new 2019 MDX with all rows folded. Features like leather upholstery, a sunroof, and Desert Olive Ash wood trim pass this SUV hard to pass up.

A Classic Exterior, Accented by New A-Spec Styling

The biggest news for 2019 may be the new A-spec appearance package available on the Acura MDX. This package features darker trim accents that can be found all over the exterior--on the headlights and the grille, at the windows, and subtly on the rear spoiler. Chrome dual exhaust outlets and an A-spec specific front fascia further set this model apart. Acura's stunning Diamond Pentagon Grille and standard Jewel Eye® LED Headlights can be found on the rest of the lineup.

Gas or Hybrid?

Standard power for the 2019 Acura MDX comes from a 3.5-liter V6 engine, good for 290 horsepower and 267 pound-feet of torque. For the Acura MDX Sport Hybrid, power is provided by a 3.0-liter engine and an innovative three-motor system. Both engines pair to a recently updated nine-speed automatic transmission. Front-wheel drive is standard on most, but Super-Handling All-Wheel Drive™ is available on all trims.

Drive Safe and Stay Connected

Android Auto and Apple CarPlay come standard on the 2019 Acura MDX SUV, integrated directly into the dual-screen infotainment system. All you need to do is plug in your compatible smartphone, and your media and apps will display right on the 7.0-inch touchscreen. In safety and driver-assistance features, the new 2019 MDX offers forward-collision warning with autonomous braking, lane keep assist and lane departure warning, adaptive cruise control, and road departure mitigation through an AcuraWatch suite that's offered standard on all trims and with all packages.
